i feel vancouver is a tricky place to get to know..i feel the city is very segregated-that is, extremely different vibes in different areas and some animosity between these different areas. vancouver is not exactly a big city, and not exactly a small one. i think it's finding itself. so i guess in one way, that makes room for all of us to grow. good luck in your new city!
