I first posted the initial message about this pub about 5 years ago. I had boycot the pub until about a year and a half ago and decided to go back with the hopes that the atmosphere had changed. The waitress that once berraded me with false accusations still works there and I have never once confronted or brought up the issue since whats done is done, I cannot change that and have accepted it. But yet again I was treated like a virus from the staff. The same staff still work there..(waitresses only) and it seems to me that nothing will ever change in that establishment. Blatantly ignored, talked about while myself and other customers can hear...just plain ignorant behavior!
I can understand how those of you who stick up for Avantis can be so passionate about it as I once was one of those clients. I was treated kindly, served and welcomed with a smile...then I was wrongly given a severe label that I cannot undo as no one there will acknowledge the error and choose to believe their lies... Other people in that establishment know me and have known me for years and can openly acknowledge the fact that their accusations are false on my character and I would NEVER BE CAUGHT DEAD mumbling racial slurs!EVER!
Until they obtain a professional additude there will always be a grievance with the servers of that bar. They should wipe the slate clean, hire new waiting staff that know the lines between customer and client or perhaps take a refresher course on conduct in the work place when doing customer service.
I am sincerely disappointed to say that I will never step foot in that establishment again and I intend on spreading the word to any media that will listen. The owners of that bar should be ashamed of the way their waitresses segregrate their clients.
My money is green like anyone else and I respect the service industry more than most...sigh..
